This class is for those who have some yoga experience, and are ready to build on the foundational poses. Some experience with using props and a basic understanding of shoulder stand is preferable.
A class suitable for everyone. All levels welcome. We will cover a basic sequence with a short relaxation at the end.
Beginning Thursday 17th October. This is a class suitable for anyone over the age of 55. Gail James has been practising yoga for over 40 years. She has had many years extensive teaching experience and offers a yoga practice to suit the student, as she understands that everyone’s needs are different. Yin Yoga is a calming and slow paced style of Yoga.There is a focus on static, floor-based postures that are held for longer periods of time and incorporate mindfulness practice. Yin Yoga is a complementary style of practice to balance the effects of busy lifestyles and is suitable for all levels of experience.
